Halloween Philanthropy
| The Boys and Girls Club is Kansas Alpha’s primary philanthropic beneficiary. The first event we host is the Phi Kappa Psi Halloween Party. We turn the house into a haunted house and let the children trick or treat from room to room. All the members dress up and hand out candy. We help the kids paint pumpkins and decorate cookies. |

Skip Day Carnvial Philanthropy
| In the spring we host the Phi Kappa Psi and Pi Beta Phi "Skip Day Carnival." We turn the first floor and parking lot into a carnival. Children from the Boys and Girls Club of Douglas County move throughout the house and go from station to station. The stations include: pie-in-the-face, the water balloon toss, moon walk, and basketball games. Again, we pair up with a sorority; in this case the ladies of Pi Beta Phi helped us in the organization of this event. It is a very fun way to help out the community. |

Rock Chalk Revue
| This past spring marked the third consecutive year that Phi Kappa Psi was selected to participate in Rock Chalk Revue. This past year we were honored to be with the women of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Our show received numerous laughs and rounds of applause, along with 6 awards including: Best script, best supporting actor, best interpretation of theme, best cast, best choreography and best video. We are proud to be able to participate in such a fun philanthropy. Every year Rock Chalk Revue raises over $35,000 to the United Way. |

KU Community Blood Drive
| Phi Kappa Psi has been a major participant in the KU Blood Drive over the past several years. This past spring was our 14th consecutive semester leading all fraternities in blood donated and hours volunteered. Each semester we have won the Chipotle food prize where the Interfraternal Council has provided the chapter with dinner. KU hosts one blood drive each semester. |

Phi Psi 500
| In 2008 Kansas Alpha reinstated our Phi Psi 500 philanthropy. Teams of girls were assigned an active member of the house to be their coach and competed against each other in an afternoon of fun events. The preliminary events included a dunk tank, water balloon toss, badminton tournament, and trivia contest. To finish the event, teams competed in a tricycle race filled with various obstacles. The turnout was enormous and all the proceeds benefited the Autism Society of the Heartland. The number of participants and amount of money raised makes the Phi Psi 500 one of the largest and most popular philanthropies on campus. |
